Council Announces 2021 Virtual R3 Forum Registration

(Washington, D.C.) –  The Council to Advance Hunting and the Shooting Sports postponed the in-person National R3 Symposium until 2022 and is offering a virtual event in its place. The 2021 Virtual R3 Forum will occur on May 5th from 12 to 5 PM Eastern and registration is now open.

The theme of the meeting is “Keeping the COVID Cohort.” With participation increases and demographic shifts across the board over the past year, this year’s forum will take a look at the recent participation trends for hunting, shooting sports, angling and other outdoor recreation. With those data setting the stage, the rest of the meeting will focus on sessions to assist partners in keeping new participants engaged and continuing to drive interest of potential audiences.

When asked about the event, Swanny Evans, Manager of Partnerships for the Council stated, “Registration is free, it’s only a half-day commitment, and you can join us from the comfort of your couch. Why wouldn’t you attend the 2021 Virtual R3 Forum to find out more about how the R3 community can work together in Keeping the COVID Cohort?”

The agenda was developed with input from a planning committee made up of R3 experts from around the country and includes presentations from a wide range of stakeholders. Visit the Council website to see the details

“Thanks to input from our planning committee we were able to develop a well-rounded agenda that we are confident will provide significant value to the R3 community and help us maintain momentum until we are able to meet in-person in 2022,” stated Dr. Steven Leath, Executive Director of the Council.
