Gun Owners Flock to New USCCA Online Apparel Store as Firearms Sales Surge

WEST BEND, WI – For companies like the United States Concealed Carry Association (USCCA), which provides industry leading training and legal protection to American gun owners, record-high registrations for firearms has carried over into clothing and accessories favored by gun owners.  After August saw over 3.11 million background checks by the FBI – setting the record for the most checks in the month of August to date and the eighth consecutive month in a row for record firearm-related background checks – the surging interest in firearms did not stop at the gun counter.

The USCCA launched a new apparel line in its online store specifically designed for those who wanted to show their pride as responsible gun owners and family protectors.  From men’s and women’s apparel, to training gear and range accessories, supporters of faith, family and firearms have access to a one-stop-shop and USCCA members get to benefit from other perks such as free shipping.

“The consistent rise in gun sales and increasing numbers of Americans embracing self-defense has resulted in record interest in the resources that the USCCA has to offer, whether it’s firearms-related trainings or apparel.  We’ve seen rapid growth of our membership to more than 450,000 responsible gun owners, and we’re incredibly grateful that so many Americans are choosing to expand their knowledge of firearms with the USCCA family,” said Tim Schmidt, CEO and founder of the USCCA.  “With everything happening in the world today, more and more people are realizing that they are their first line of defense and simply doing nothing to be educated and trained for a variety of situations is no longer an option.  They are willing to bear that responsibility, and they’re proud to show it.”

The USCCA attributes the massive rise in gun sales and the increased interest in living a gun owner’s lifestyle to a kind of “self-defense awakening” that’s sweeping the country, with nearly 5 million first-time gun owners in 2020 so far.  And the proof is in the numbers: The online store exploded with more than 50,000 new visitors in a single day and the store sold more in a single day than it previously did in a month.  Even before the USCCA marketed its completely revamped store stocked with new clothing, it saw a nearly 400 percent increase in customers visiting the site within 24 hours, and the visitors keep coming as firearms sales resulted in booming USCCA membership interest.

The USCCA provides self-defense education, training and legal protection to responsible American gun owners. Headquartered in West Bend, Wisconsin, the USCCA is the largest and fastest-growing association whose sole focus is the responsibly armed American.
