HuntStand Inks Partnership With Virginia Deer Hunters Association

HuntStand® is proud to announce a partnership with the Virginia Deer Hunters Association (VDHA), under which HuntStand will become the organization’s official hunting and land management app.

“HuntStand is very pleased to add the VDHA to our growing list of official partners,” said Lanford Holloway, CEO of HuntStand’s parent company, Terrastride Inc. “Not only is the VDHA one of the oldest and largest state-based deer hunting organizations in the U.S., it also has a distinguished track record fighting for Virginia’s deer hunters and protecting the state’s proud hunting heritage. Its mission and grassroots efforts align perfectly with HuntStand’s philosophy and focus.”

Founded in 1985, the Virginia Deer Hunters Association is a volunteer, statewide, nonprofit organization dedicated to responsible management of white-tailed deer as a valuable resource. The VDHA serves as “the voice” of deer hunters while protecting the rights and traditions of deer hunting.

Under this agreement, VDHA members will be offered discounts on HuntStand Pro and custom maps, and the VDHA will also receive exposure/promotion via the extensive HuntStand network that includes the app, social media, e-blasts and HuntStand e-newsletter, as well as revenue generated by the partnership to further its mission. HuntStand will receive exposure via the VDHA website (virginiadeerhunters.org) and member e-mails, as well as in the organization’s quarterly publication, Whitetail Times.

“We’re extremely excited to welcome HuntStand as the official hunting and land management app of the Virginia Deer Hunters Association,” said VDHA Executive Director Denny Quaiff. “Not only can HuntStand better connect our members with the outdoors, the app’s many features can also increase member hunting success and enjoyment. This made partnering with the global leader in hunting apps a no-brainer for us.”

HuntStand is the world’s most widely used hunting app with more than 6 million downloads and millions of active users. The app affords full offline capabilities, nationwide property ownership information, multiple satellite base layers, detailed weather information, and advanced map creation and sharing capabilities. HuntStand also offers a top-notch high-resolution map printing service. For more information, go to www.huntstand.com
