Outdoor Research, LLC (OR), a leading brand in outdoor and tactical gear, announced that the company will rebrand its existing and future tactical line and its expanding working professionals product line under the name OR Pro. The Seattle-based brand made this announcement at the annual Shooting Hunting Outdoor Trade (SHOT) Show.
For over 30 years Outdoor Research has been designing and manufacturing products for the U.S. military and first responders in its U.S. factories in Seattle, Wash., and El Monte, Calif. and offshore in compliance with the Trade Agreements Act (TAA). With the continued growth of these products and programs, Outdoor Research will be re-branding this business and a growing product line under the name OR Pro.
“This rebranding speaks to the work our OR team has been doing for decades — designing and developing products for professionals both here in the U.S. and around the world,” said David Hein, General Manager at Outdoor Research. “From members of the military along with first responders, OR has and will continue to outfit these individuals with the best gear available based on the needs of the consumer.”
Using OR’s highly skilled product development, design, engineering and manufacturing teams, OR Pro will continue to serve the Outdoor Research current consumer base while expanding to include product that supports, protects and prepares working professionals in multiple fields of work.
